The portal is a new experiment in order to mix
1) traditional web-pages with
2) a small scale news desk,
3) small articles and
4) advertisements
The portal is owned by keyholders and organised by two founding bodies (Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and DTS/Society for the Study of Diaconia) which are the founding keyholders.
The Door is an open platform for partners who want become keyholders
- universities and universities of applied sciences
- institutions promoting study and development of diaconia
- research groups
- advertising partners
The Door will be updated four times a year:
February 1 (deadline for articles & texts January 1/ deadline for the news January 15)
May 1 (deadline March 1/March 15)
September 1 (deadline August 1/August 15)
December 1 (deadline November 1/November 15)
How do we work?
All interested parties may contact us and join in making the portal. The only cost is the annual fee of 300 euro for research partners and for advertising partners 300-600 euro per year. We offer all partners a link in the homepage and a text in the site about 1-2 pages (about 500 words/3000 characters) with further hyperlinks to your own web-pages. Alternatively you can simply link the portal with your own web page.
Younger and still vulnerable or small organisations can apply for a reduced fee.
