Biblical scholars interested in the Poverty in the Biblical World

The Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) organised a consultation on Poverty in the Biblical World during the annual conference in San Francisco (2011). Speakers of the consultation included Glenna Jackson, (Otterbein College), J. David Pleins (Santa Clara University), Kari Latvus (University of Helsinki), Gale A. Yee (Episcopal Divinity School), Brigitte Kahl (Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York), and Richard Horsley (University of Massachusetts Boston).
